Lab 9 - Spatial analysis: Trend surface analysis and PCNM
نویسنده
چکیده
Spatial structure in ecological communities is increasingly recognized as being important for the understanding of the processes driving communities. In ecological communities, spatial patterns are either driven by environmental factors or biotic processes. Thus to adequately understand ecological communities it is important to identify the spatial structures and then relate these patterns to underlying processes. Different ecological processes can occur at different spatial scale (fine vs broad scales). It is thus important to detect and quantify spatial patterns over a wide range of scales.

Investigation of Long Term Trend of Spatio-Temporal changes of Sea Surface Temperature in Oman Sea
Considering the vast application of sea surface temperature in climatic and oceanic investigations, this parameter was studied in Oman Sea from 1986 to 2015. The SST was surveyed using trend analysis and Global and local Moran’s I spatial autocorrelation. In trend analysis, the Mann-Kendall test was used to determine the trend of SST changes and the Sen's Estimator method was used to examine th...

One of the Siberian high pressure system is the Earth climate system, atmospheric important. The purpose of this study, analysis of core changes Siberian high pressure system in the period mentioned. To identify the core spatial variations in the timeframe mentioned data, daily sea level pressure and temperature of the earth's surface with a resolution of 2.5 degrees within the space of 30 to 6...
متن کاملFrom spatial ecology to spatial epidemiology: modeling spatial distributions of different cancer types with principal coordinates of neighbor matrices
BACKGROUND Epidemiology and ecology share many fundamental research questions. Here we describe how principal coordinates of neighbor matrices (PCNM), a method from spatial ecology, can be applied to spatial epidemiology. PCNM is based on geographical distances among sites and can be applied to any set of sites providing a good coverage of a study area. In the present study, PCNM eigenvectors c...
متن کاملRevealing the impact of changing land use of the annual spatiotemporal boundary layer height (Kermanshah Case Study)
Introduction Atmospheric boundary layer (ABL), is the lowest part of the atmosphere. Its behavior is directly influenced by its contact with earth surface. On earth it usually responds to changes in surface radiative forcing in an hour or less. In this layer physical quantities such as flow velocity, temperature, moisture, etc., display rapid fluctuations (turbulence) and vertical mixing is st...
